As we began to look at houses in Vancouver, one of our friends referred us to Steven, who had just helped them find their new home. After meeting, we decided to start our search with him and we cast a wide net in several neighbourhoods of Vancouver. Throughout the process he was always upfront about true market value of each home, as we found ourselves in the midst of a handful of bidding wars on fixer-upper homes, that could have quickly gotten out of hand. We never felt pressured to offer more than we felt the home was worth, and Steven’s design and renovation background was very helpful and effective in analyzing a properties updates or upcoming repair needs. In the end, we were able to happily secure a home that checked off our boxes and that we can customize to fit our lifestyle.
